About

Who I Am (And Why I Started This)

I’m not a doctor, academic researcher, or industry insider. I’m something that might be more valuable for this space: a skeptical health optimizer who’s spent decades separating science from marketing hype.

As the founder of AgelessFit365.com, I’ve been deep in the health and fitness research world for years, always looking for evidence-based methods that actually move the needle on human performance. When I started researching cognitive enhancement, I noticed a massive gap between what the nicotine studies actually show and what most people believe.

“The internet is full of people selling nicotine products and academics publishing papers. But nobody was translating the real research for people who just want to know: does this stuff actually work for focus?”

That’s why Nicotine Demystified exists. To cut through the BS, examine the actual data, and give you the information you need to make informed decisions.

My Research Philosophy

Evidence Over Hype

I only discuss what peer-reviewed research actually shows, not what marketing wants you to believe.

Independent Analysis

I don’t work for any nicotine brands or have financial ties to research institutions.

Practical Application

Academic papers are great, but I focus on what actually matters for real-world cognitive performance.

Honest Limitations

I’ll tell you when the research is incomplete, contradictory, or when we simply don’t know enough yet.

Why I’m Skeptical About Most Health Claims

After decades in the health and fitness space, I’ve seen countless “breakthrough” supplements, “revolutionary” protocols, and “game-changing” discoveries that turned out to be marketing nonsense.

Most health content online is either:

  • Selling something: Biased toward whatever product pays the bills
  • Academic ivory tower: Technically accurate but completely impractical
  • Anecdotal hype: “This changed my life” stories without scientific backing
  • Fear-mongering: Everything will kill you (usually from people who don’t understand risk assessment)

What’s missing is independent analysis from someone who understands both the science and the real-world application.

What Makes This Site Different

Real Research, Real Analysis

I actually read the studies. Not just the abstracts. I look at sample sizes, control groups, effect sizes, and whether the results are actually meaningful for healthy adults.

No Brand Bias

I’m not sponsored by ZYN, Nicorette, or any other nicotine company. When I do include affiliate links, it’s clearly disclosed and only for products I’d actually recommend based on the research.

Practical Dosing Information

Most nicotine content either promotes whatever dose sells best or warns against any use at all. I focus on what the research shows about optimal dosing for cognitive benefits.

Adult-Focused, Harm Reduction Approach

This isn’t about promoting nicotine use to non-users. It’s about providing accurate information for adults who are already using or considering nicotine products.

My Personal Experience

I’ll be transparent: I do use nicotine occasionally for cognitive enhancement. I started with 6mg pouches (like most people) before discovering the research shows 1-2mg is actually optimal for focus.

This personal experience, combined with decades of evaluating health interventions through AgelessFit365, gives me a unique perspective on what actually works versus what just sounds good on paper.

But here’s the key: my personal experience doesn’t drive my recommendations. The research does. I’ve been wrong about plenty of things over the years, which is why I always default to the best available evidence.

What You Won’t Find Here

  • Medical advice: I’m not a doctor, and this isn’t medical consultation
  • One-size-fits-all recommendations: Individual responses vary significantly
  • Promotion to non-users: This content is for adults already using or considering nicotine
  • Hype or fear-mongering: Just objective analysis of available research
  • Corporate sponsorship bias: My analysis isn’t influenced by brand partnerships

The Mission

My goal is simple: bridge the gap between academic research and practical application for adults who want evidence-based information about nicotine and cognitive performance.

Whether you’re a biohacker optimizing performance, someone with ADHD exploring alternatives, or just curious about what the science actually shows, you deserve access to unbiased, well-researched information.

That’s what Nicotine Demystified is all about.
